Knitted fabric is almost always dyed in batch
process. The commonly heard term is a
soft-flow machine, which indicates the gentle
treatment that the fabric gets in such a
process. This gentle treatment is essential to
minimize fabric distortion. Evenness of dyeing
exhaustion and fixation are primarily
determined by the control of dyeing conditions
(liquor ratio, temperature /gradient, dosing
curve, process parameters). These features
should be controlled automatically. We utilize
control systems from reputed suppliers in this
field to achieve a high degree of automation
and central. Another parameter, which
determines evenness and exhaustion, is the
speed of the fabric. The higher the speed, the
more even dyeing and quicker the exhaustion.
The fabric is propelled by the lifter reel
(winch) which should be driven by a frequency
controlled motor to control the speed. The
liquor is circulated by means of a pump driven
by a frequency controlled motor in order to
control liquor flow. Measurement of actual
fabric speed and synchronization with winch
speed and liquor flow is of absolutes
importance for low tension, no slippage and
ultra gentle fabric transport. Fabric speed to
be maintained is determined weight per unit
length of fabric and type of dyestuff. The
movement of every fabric rope should be
monitored and compared to the monitored and
compared to the minimum set point. This
provision enables even dyeing, low tension in
fabric, detects tangles before they are
firmed.
The nozzle design and liquor flow is very
critical in ensuring low tension on the fabric
and absence of abrasion. This assumes more
importance when dyeing delicate fabrics.
PROTEX dyeing
is designed for knitted and woven fabric made
cotton, viscose rayon, polyamide, cotton lycra,
polyacrylic, wool, and silk and blends of
these.
The traditional and field proven dyeing ranges
can no longer meet present day demands and
standards i.e. high quality with low process
cost. With PROTEX dyeing, we have implemented
a new concept and approach, a low liquor
ratio-HTHP dyeing machine has been developed
for batch processing of knotted and woven
fabric in rope form. PROTEX dyeing has been
specially developed looking into the needs of
quality producers who are looking out for.
● HIGH LEVELNESS.
● NON STRESS CREASE LESS FABRIC.
● GOOD FABRIC FACE APPEARANCE.
High quality dyeing possible on PROTEX dyeing
with about 40% saving on water steam,
chemicals, dyestuff, labour and process time
as compared to conventional winch dyeing
machines. No need for jet changes. Short
setting up times. Different fabric with
different weights can be dyed on the machine.
Especially designed cyclo nozzle has been
provided for low pressure/high volume
discharge on the fabric. Very low power
consumption per Kg of fabric.
Options
● Full automation including filling and
draining.
● Stirrer on service tank for higher capacity
machines.
● Pneumatic drive for main pump motor.
● Seam detector.
● Spraying nozzle for inside cleaning.
